Our mission
Queen Ventures exists to help aging-out foster youth and transitioning veterans build greater stability and prepare for changing workforce opportunities. Our charitable focus brings together practical education, housing-stability planning, financial capability, mentorship, and responsible use of emerging technology.
We are currently developing Mission Forward, a structured support model intended to connect these areas. The program is not yet represented as an active residential cohort, and Queen Ventures does not promise placement, housing, employment, income, or funding.
Who we serve
Young adults leaving foster care can face abrupt changes in housing, education, employment, health coverage, and personal support. Veterans moving into civilian life may need to translate military experience, navigate benefits, and rebuild professional networks. Our educational resources are designed around these transition points.
- Aging-out foster youth and young adults formerly in care
- Veterans preparing for or navigating civilian transition
- Families, mentors, service providers, and community partners supporting those groups
Our stage of development
Queen Ventures received recognition of federal tax exemption under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3), effective May 1, 2023. We are building the policies, partnerships, safeguards, curriculum, and measurement practices needed before launching participant services.
Until those elements are ready, the website provides public education, transparent organizational information, and an interest list. Updates are published in our News section with their actual publication dates.
How we are governed
Queen Ventures is a Delaware unincorporated nonprofit association managed under its bylaws by Rahman "Roc" Amen and Queen Amen. The association does not maintain a corporate board of directors.
